Karla Barrios is an Associate with Whiteman, Hamilton & Conklin, LLC, where she represents clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury claims. Before joining the firm as an Associate, Karla worked for the team as a workers’ compensation paralegal. Her work with the firm has led her to develop a passion for helping people with injuries navigate their claims and get their lives back on track.
Karla is originally from Los Angeles, California. She received her bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University before earning her juris doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Karla is fluent in Spanish and English. As a bilingual attorney, she can serve and effectively communicate with a broad and diverse range of clients.
Karla enjoys volunteering with community organizations during her free time, including LEJO and St. Clements Catholic Church. She also enjoys organizing and participating in events providing legal aid to the Spanish-speaking community, including DACA Renewal Workshop, Immigration Law Clinic, and Learn Your Rights sessions. Karla also enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time.
